    In a red box it says :
    One or more problems were detected with your Drupal installation. Check the status report for more information.

    Now I'm not sure if I have my Drupal installation done correctly! Do I need to freak out??? Need some answers : )

    Usually, you have two detected problems on fresh Drupal installations: cron job and file permission. Simply, click on the links that the error message suggested you'll visit and save the configuration. For cron, just click "run manually" as of now and try to install "poormanscron" module for cron jobs.
